I have been working with tarot for about ten years. Much of that time was for my own personal use only; in recent years I began branching out by doing readings for close friends and family. Since about mid-2025, I’ve further branched out and have done a few readings outside my immediate circle. These experiences have given me much joy and satisfaction, and I’m excited to continue to broaden my reach as a reader.
Recently, I began a deeper practice involving intense meditation on each card. The mediation often takes place over the course of several days, and it will take me a full year to get through the whole deck. I believe that this self-led in-depth study will enrich my practice as a reader; this is the kind of study I am compelled to engage in due to my instinctual connection with the tarot and my love of the experience of being with the cards.
I primarily work with the Tarot of the Spirit Deck by Pamela and Joyce Eakins, though I love experiencing other decks and have enjoyed a wide range. Other decks I have explored include Leonora Carrington’s major arcana, the Liberation Deck, and the Embodied Ecosystems Tarot, as well as classic decks such as the Rider Waite Smith and the Thoth. where will readings take place?
as I don’t yet have my own space, we will determine a meeting location prior to your reading.
how much do you charge for readings?
I charge a sliding scale based on a variety of factors. as a relatively new reader, my rates are very reasonable regardless. currently, I will not charge more than $25 for any single reading.
how long do readings typically last?
depends on the reading, but usually at least half an hour. we can discuss what you’re looking for prior to your reading and I can try to estimate based on that.
what kinds of readings do you do?
though I do use classic spreads in some situations, I tend to be very organic and free-flowing, choosing the number and placement of cards that feels right.
can you predict the future?
no.
what I can do is work with you and the cards to find insight, new perspectives, and a better understanding of how you might move forward with the issue, question, or problem you have brought to the cards.
